Now you can make Keto Cheese Chips! (AKA – Cheeze-It’s) I used to sit and eat an entire box of these things at once. You know the saying, get your own box? I lived that. These baby’s were mine and mine alone. Back off Jack!
Alas! Since I cut wheat and grains out of my diet due to health reasons, I have had to break up with my beloved. It was heartbreaking. I’m not sure I’m over it yet. Wait! Yes I am!
Here is how to make Keto Cheese Chips with just one ingredient:
Yes, that’s right, the only ingredient is a simple slice of Kraft American Deluxe Cheese. Yes! That’s all! Really!
You have to use the real cheese, not the one that says cheese product, so that means don’t get the individual slices of American Cheese.
One slice of the American Cheese makes 16 Keto Cheese Chips! All I did was slice one piece of the American Cheese into 16 pieces. You can do larger ones if you like. I like to have lots of little pieces to eat over time.
Either way, just put the cheese slices on parchment paper on a microwave safe plate. I like to place the cheese around the edge of a round plate because it seems that they all get cooked evenly. I used a Pampered Chef Pizza Stone. It’s microwaveable and large enough to fit a lot of cheese squares.
Oh yeah! Be sure you only use parchment paper . Do Not use wax paper. Your cheese chips will stick and it will ruin all of your hopes and dreams!
Only Use Parchment Paper!
One slice of the Deli Deluxe American cheese will make 16 Cheese Chips, so you can make a lot with just a few slices. I used 3 slices and came out with 48 chips. So you can just pop them in the microwave for about 1 minute, 45 seconds, depending on your many you make at a time and how powerful your microwave is. They should look like this when they are done.

This entire batch is about 3 carbs for 48 Keto Cheese Chips, which comes out to roughly 1 carb for 1 slice of cheese.
You can season these up anyway you want: Try different things like putting a drop of Tabasco sauce on each one, or even some sriracha sauce! Go wild! Store in an airtight container like this one if you don’t eat all of them right away. A simple zip lock baggie works too.
Now you can finally have low carb cheese crackers that taste like Cheeze It’s!

How to make Keto Cheese Chips using one slice of American Cheese
- 3 slices Kraft Deli Deluxe American Cheese Not individually wrapped cheese product
Cut each slice of cheese into 16 pieces.
Place slices on a round microwavable plate with parchment paper.
Microwave 1:45 seconds. Times will vary according to how many pieces you make and the wattage of your microwave.
Don't use individual wrapped American Cheese. Only use the Deli Deluxe.
Don't use wax paper. This will only work with parchment paper.
